When is ZABMUN 2008?
ZABMUN 2008 will be held on the 14-16th October 2008.
Where will the conference be held?
The conference will be hosted at Ramada Plaza, in Karachi (Link to venue tab - view map/directions)
Who can take part in ZABMUN?
All high school and university students on undergraduate and graduate programmes are eligible to participate.
When is the registrations deadline?
Registration is open till 15th September for international delegates, and 20th September for local delegates. For further registration instructions please see the registration page
How much is the delegate registration fee?
The delegate fee for ZABMUN 2008 is Rs. 3500. The amount includes lunches and tea breaks throughout the conference, as well as the social events.

How can I pay the delegate fee?
The delegate fees is payable via cheque or pay order, entitled “SZABIST – Karachi Campus, and can be mailed to 90 Clifton, Karachi, Pakistan. The envelope should clearly state “ZABMUN 2008”.
Is there a minimum number of delegates for a delegation?
No, however the maximum in a delegation is 4.
Can an institute send more than one delegation?
Yes, institutions can send in any number of delegations. Relevant team numbers must stated when filling the registration form.
I have never participated in a MUN conference before. Can I still attend the conference?
ZABMUN is suitable for both beginners and veterans MUN’ers. You are welcome to participate in the conference even if you have never participated in MUN simulations in the past.
There will be training sessions at the beginning of the conference to ensure that you comprehend the rules and procedures and are able to participate.
Throughout the conference there will also be members from the Secretariat present who you can approach with any further queries.
How do I prepare for the conference?
Once you have applied and been allocated a country and committee, you can start to research that country’s position regarding the committee topics.

What is a faculty advisor?
The faculty advisor is normally a member of teaching staff responsible for organizing and training of the delegation. Delegations can register without being accompanied by a faculty advisor, and not more than one faculty advisor is allowed per delegation.
I am an overseas delegate and I therefore need a visa to attend the conference. Can you help?
ZABMUN can arrange to send individual invitation letters for visa purposes after you have registered as a delegate/delegation. Please follow the instructions on the registration page, and feel free to contact us for any further information.
What is the dress code for the conference?
Male delegates are expected to be dressed in business suits, shirts and ties. Female delegates should wear smart feminine equivalent.
